Singapore’s ‘30 by 30 goal’ to produce 30% of our nutritional needs by 2030 has given a boost to the development of alternative proteins such as cultivated meat. Incidentally, cultivated meat also has the potential to address health, environmental, and animal welfare concerns. However, consumer acceptance of such novel food technologies like cultivated meat cannot be taken for granted.

During this lunchtime session, Professor Mark Chong will share the key findings from his studies on what drives Singapore consumers’ perception and acceptance of cultivated meat.

Together, internal and external awareness help us make more accurate predictions and select appropriate decision strategies, resulting in better decisions.
